James Erbs

James Erbs has worked for over 30 years in consulting, operating and private equity roles, such as Bain Consulting and Bain Capital. He has successfully led multiple small and mid-cap companies through major transformations. Most recently, Jim served as the President and CEO of Safety Socket LLC, a manufacturer of specialty, high-strength fasteners for demanding applications in a variety of industries including aerospace, military and oil and gas. He currently serves as a Senior Technical Advisor to the Aerospace Industries Association, National Aerospace Standards Committee, and until recently as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.
